Diode Check

  1. 1
    Check continuity using an ohmmeter.
    Diode check using ohmmeter — showing continuity exists in one direction and no continuity in the other direction through a diode

    Diode is functioning properly if test results are as shown in the figure at left.
  3. 3
    Diodes for warning lamps are built into the combination meter printed circuit.
