Check brake pedal free height from dash reinforcement panel. Adjust if necessary.

Pedal adjustment procedure
- 1Adjust pedal free height with brake booster input rod. Then tighten lock nut.Make sure that tip of input rod stays inside.
SBR930 - 2Adjust clearance "C₁" and "C₂" with stop lamp switch and A.S.C.D. switch respectively. Then tighten lock nuts.
SBR153A - 3Check pedal free play.Make sure that stop lamp is off when pedal is released.
- 4Check brake pedal's depressed height while engine is running. If depressed height is below specified value, check brake system for leaks, accumulation of air or any damage to components (master cylinder, wheel cylinder, etc.); then make necessary repairs.
