Shift Solenoid A Circuit Check
1
A — CHECK GROUND CIRCUIT.
1. [Ignition OFF]
2. Disconnect terminal cord assembly connector in engine compartment.
3. Check resistance between terminal (35) and ground.
Resistance: 20 - 30Ω
N.G.
N.G.: 1. Remove control valve assembly. — Refer to 'ON-VEHICLE SERVICE'.
N.G.: 1. Remove control valve assembly. — Refer to 'ON-VEHICLE SERVICE'.
2. Check the following items.
• Shift solenoid A — Refer to 'Electrical Components Inspection'.
• Harness continuity of terminal cord assembly
O.K.
2
B — CHECK POWER SOURCE CIRCUIT.
1. [Ignition OFF]
2. Disconnect A/T control unit 16-pin connector.
3. Check resistance between terminal (35) and A/T control unit terminal (35).
Resistance: Approximately 0Ω
4. Reinstall any part removed.
N.G.
N.G.: Repair or replace harness between A/T control unit and terminal cord assembly. (Main harness)
O.K.
3
Perform self-diagnosis after driving for a while.
N.G.
N.G.: 1. Perform A/T control unit input/output signal inspection.
