Preliminary Check

Clean area suspected of leaking, — for example, mating surface of converter housing and transmission case.

Start engine, apply foot brake, place selector lever in "D" range and wait a few minutes.

Stop engine.

Check for fresh leakage.

Milky pink	Water contamination — Road water entering through filler tube or breather
