Gear Components Assembly

  1. 1
    Install bearings into case components.
    Two-panel illustration showing mainshaft ball bearing being installed into adapter plate using tool ST30720000 (top), and counter rear bearing being installed into adapter plate using tool ST33200000 (bottom).

    Assemble adapter plate parts.
    1. Install oil gutter on adapter plate and expand on rear side.
    2. Install bearing retainer.
    3. Insert reverse shaft, then install bearing retainer.

    4. Tighten each screw, then stake each at two points.
