EM-10prose procedureRemoval
- 1Drain engine coolant from radiator.Be careful not to spill coolant on drive belts.
- 2Remove air duct, upper radiator hose, radiator shroud and under cover.
- 3Remove the following belts: ● Power steering pump drive belt ● Compressor drive belt ● Alternator drive belt
- 4Remove water pump pulley, fan and fan coupling.
- 5Remove crank angle sensor.Put aligning mark on crank angle sensor and timing belt cover.
SEM515B - 6Remove front upper timing belt cover.
SEM516B - 7Remove all spark plugs.
- 8Set No. 1 piston at T.D.C. on its compression stroke.
SEM512B - 9Remove crankshaft pulley.
- 10Remove front lower timing belt cover.
- 11Loosen timing belt tensioner nut, turn tensioner, then remove timing belt.
